Monumental Cast-Concrete Sculpture

The "Mother and Child" sculpture of Zhang Yaxi is permanently located as a monumental sculpture in Qinghai. Cast in concrete over a gigantic steel armature, it measures 16 m x 7 m x 6 m - making it  a technically challenging public sculpture project.
